Informatik Studierende und Mitarbeiter des Campus Minden präsentieren ihre Arbeiten auf der Europäischen Umweltinformatikkonferenz „EnviroInfo“.

Studenten im Modul Data Mining, betreut von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Grit Behrens, gewinnen den 2. Platz im Studierendenwettbewerb auf der Europäischen Umweltinformatikkonferenz „EnviroInfo“ mit ihrem Projekt  'Detecting soiling on solar panels with data mining and machine learning'.

Sebastian Hempelmann, Mitarbeiter im Projekt 'PV digital 4.0'  hält einen Vortrag zum Thema 'Low cost yield prognosis for photovoltaic systems based on machine learning'. Das Projekt 'PV digital 4.0' nutzt für innovative digitale Sensortechnologien in PV-Feldern moderne Data-Mining-Algorithmen zur Berechnung einer hochgenauen Energieertragsprognose für PV-Felder in kurz- und langfristigen Vorhersagen.

Klaus Schlender, Mitarbeiter im Projekt 'Environ' hält zwei Vorträge zu den Themen 'Machine learning algorithms based on the FACS (Facial Action Coding System) for the recognition of satisfaction states of residents with the indoor climate' und 'Supervised machine learning of environmental energy consumption types by AI algorithms targeting CO2 emission reduction and avoidance of bad air quality by giving recommendations'.
