In an increasingly globalized world, it is essential for professionals in Clinical Social Work to understand and integrate international perspectives and approaches. The upcoming workshop “International Perspectives on Clinical Social Work” warmly invites you to engage with various concepts, methods, and challenges of Clinical Social Work from a global viewpoint. The primary objective of this workshop is to advance the professionalization of Clinical Social Work.
Experts and practitioners from different countries will share their experiences and insights, fostering intercultural exchange and providing new impulses for your own practice. Critical aspects of Clinical Social Work will also be discussed, allowing participants to reflect on ethical dilemmas, systemic challenges, and the complexities inherent in diverse cultural contexts. Topics such as global social policy, transcultural approaches, and best-practice models will be addressed to offer a comprehensive insight into the diversity of Clinical Social Work and promote its professional development.
