INTage – Orientation Week for International Degree-Seeking Students

We are happy that you have come such a long way to study at HSBI! The first weeks at a new study location are eventful and sometimes also come with some challenges. To make it easier for you to get started and find your way in your new environment, the International Office organises various introductory events – also known as INTage – for international first-semester students each semester before lectures begin. During this time, you will receive important information about life in Germany and get to know the university and some of its central units a little better. For example, these include the library, Student Advising and Counselling and the Data Processing Centre. The INTage also focus on connecting students with each other. During the INTage, the International Office also offers support with bureaucratic tasks such as arranging appointments with the Citizens’ Registration Office and/or the Immigration Office. The INTage are usually rounded off by campus and city tours and a joint informal get-together.

We will send you the specific INTage programme by e-mail in good time before your studies begin.
