At HSBI we have a limited range of English-taught courses. You can find overviews of the respective courses here:

 

As an exchange student at Bielefeld School of Business, you can obtain an additional qualification called “International Business Manager” by choosing specific courses. For more information, please contact the faculty’s coordinator Nermin Karaoglu.

Please note: The courses you choose must be offered by the same faculty. It is not possible to combine courses from several faculties.
German-taught courses

If you would like to take German-taught courses, please contact the coordinator of the respective faculty before your stay to discuss the specific choice of courses:

Module catalogues

HSBI offers a wide range of study programmes, most of which are mainly taught in German. Only a small selection of modules is taught in English.

Language requirements

  • To participate in English-taught business or engineering courses: English B2
  • To participate in German-taught business or engineering courses: German B2

To participate in the German and English-taught courses of all other disciplines, you need at least a B1 level in the respective language skills. Please upload a suitable language certificate to Mobility Online when you apply.

Make sure to prepare for your stay at HSBI and consider taking German courses at institutions such as the Goethe-Institut or Online Linguistic Support (OLS). Even if the courses you take at HSBI are taught in English, you should consider learning German for everyday life in Bielefeld.
