Intensive Courses

Intensive German courses for incoming exchange students as part of the Freshers’ Week

As part of the Freshers’ Week, we offer intensive German courses that meet the incoming exchange students at their level of German and provide them with a deep insight into the German language within a short time.

For our courses, we use the “Panorama” textbooks by Cornelsen Verlag, which you can view in our library.

We ask all participants to take a placement test before the course starts and send us a screenshot of their results at sprachenzentrum@hsbi.de.

The test can be found on this website under “Einstufungstests und digitale Angebote.” Depending on your knowledge level, please select the placement test for

• A1 if you do not speak any German yet,
• A2 if you have had some German lessons in the past,
• B1 if you already speak a little German.
