Preparatory German courses
As part of the DAAD GlobalFIT project and the programme “NRWege ins Studium –Unterstützung von Studierenden mit Fluchterfahrung an Hochschulen,” HSBI offers preparatory German courses at levels B2 and C1. Please find more information on our Preparatory German courses page.

QualifyING – Qualification Programme for Engineers

HSBI’s International Office regularly offers scholarships for international students and displaced students. The application periods are usually in spring and autumn. Please find more information on our Scholarships page.
Refugees from Ukraine
Would you like to continue your studies in Germany or take up new studies? Are you wondering how to finance your studies or about the requirements for studies in Germany? We will be happy to advise you on these and any other questions you may have on studying at HSBI and in Germany. Tutors
Our student tutors will assist you with all questions around studies at HSBI and student life in Bielefeld. They also organise fun activities on a regular basis to make it possible to make new contacts.
