Freshers’ Weeks

Before the official start of the semester, HSBI offers a two-week orientation phase for exchange students, which is organised by the International Office. We strongly recommend that you arrive in Bielefeld early enough to participate in this orientation phase. This will help you complete all the necessary formalities after your arrival, improve your knowledge of German and make new friends. The Freshers’ Weeks include an intensive German course as well as a free cultural and leisure programme.
