Welcome to the SmartTecStyle – Resources & Circular Economy

The third SmartTecStyle conference 2024 will be held online from December 11-12, 2024, organized by ITES (Institute for Technical Energy Systems) at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany.

International speakers from academia and industry will present recent results of research and development. The registration is free of charge.

Conference topics include:

• Smart textiles and clothing
• Technical textiles
• E-textiles
• Smart trends for fashion, design and style
• Combining textiles with other materials
• Computation and modeling of textiles
• and similar R&D topics

Abstract submission:
If you are interested in giving a presentation, send your abstract (max. 2000 letters + 1 figure, pdf file) to andrea.ehrmann@fh-bielefeld.de.

Full paper publication:
To make your results accessible not only for the conference guests, but also for other researchers, you can – also independently from the conference – submit your research to CDATP (https://journals.qucosa.de/cdatp/), an open access textile journal without article processing charge, where interesting papers can be published after the usual peer-review process.
