Even the strongest economies, such as Germany, Japan, and China, are facing a lack of offspring. This problem can be addressed through political solutions. As they are countries with high levels of immigration, they aim to close the gap through their immigration policies. This paper will explore the impact of the skills shortage on the German economy and examine the immigration policies of both the European Union and Germany, as well as the challenges they face.
