Abstract
Digital transformation extends to all areas of society. For health promotion, this means new and multiple opportunities to reach vulnerable population groups in terms of health. However, there is evidence of a digital divide in people in disadvantaged living conditions . Today, the differences are less apparent in access to digital media, but rather in usage competencies and health skills. Digital health literacy (DHL) can be an important tool for improving health and quality of life. DHL is understood as the ability to find, understand, assess and use health-related information in relation to digital applications and digital information services. When it comes to promoting DHL, target group-specific offers for vulnerable population groups are rare. In order to reach them, a community-based approach according to the World Health Organization could make a significant contribution. This involves addressing people from a social group in a specific geographical area.
