Abstract
RwL research in health professions and social work has to adapt the processes of involving practitioners, identifying common objectives, sharing research and practice goals, and conducting real-world experiments to fit the specific challenges, problems, and epistemologies surrounding health issues. Building on theoretical considerations and practical learnings from a small-scale district-based RwL on the health hazards of climate change, the contribution explores the process of adapting RwL research principles and methodologies for the transdisciplinary and transformative research of health professions and social work systems. It then upscales these insights to propose key themes for other health and social work-related RwLs.
