Moreover, they might enable completely\r\nnew manufacturing solutions. On the other hand, seamless\r\nintegration to existing infrastructure and high performance with\r\nminimal increase of latency and jitter are key requirements.\r\nA wireless network with these features is developed in the\r\nproject ParSec. Here, especially the MAC layer design and the\r\ngateway concepts between existing Industrial Ethernet solutions\r\nand the wireless ParSec system are improved. In this paper, we\r\nshow the ParSec system’s proof of concept using typical industrial\r\ncomponents.
