In the first sections, a comprehensive overview of TRC structural topography and discussion of important terms is presented. Theory of roving-concrete bonding, theoretical shear and axial mechanism, finite element analysis, and analytical modeling of TRC are discussed based on recent literature and basic principles of structural modeling. The following sections cover heat transfer and temperature effects in TRC, detailed overview of existing models of different TRC structures, three-dimensional modeling of TRCs maximum deformation and stress. Finally, TRC for different applications and future prospects are discussed. The core of discussion is hinged on theoretical formulation and modeling through consideration of different techniques for reinforced concrete and hybrid structures containing TRC. This chapter provides useful steps, guiding principles and diverse phenomena, which can be taken into account before formulating theoretical models for TRC structures. With recent developments in innovation pertaining TRCs, this chapter is sought to provide more clear understanding of formulation and modeling of TRC-reinforced structures for innumerable applications."}],"series_title":"The Textile Institute Book Series","main_file_link":[{"url":"https://doi.org/10.1016/B978-0-12-822977-4.00006-6"}],"type":"book_chapter","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"page":"421-442","department":[{"_id":"103"}],"date_updated":"2024-05-11T10:28:17Z"}
